MAKING A GRANT REQUEST

The George and Mary Josephine Hamman Foundation is a Texas chartered non-profit corporation under the Internal Revenue Code Section 509(a) and is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3).

We fund education, scientific, medical, charitable and religious organizations within the State of Texas who are qualified under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code.

 

Note: The George and Mary Josephine Hamman Foundation Grant Application must now be completed online using the following link: 

 https://www.grantrequest.com/SID_5867?SA=SNA&FID=35001 

All required documents found listed on the online application can be uploaded during the online application process.

Note: The name on the application must be the same name as the IRS Determination Letter and the name on the IRS Form 990.

If you are a returning organization and a Follow-up Report is required, this report can be uploaded during the online Grant Application process.  The Follow-up Report can be downloaded from the following link: Follow-up Report

 

 

 

The following will be required attachments when completing the online application:

Copy of your most recent 501(c)(3) letter from the IRS

Most recent year-to-date Balance Sheet and Income Statement

Most recent  990 with Schedule A and attachments.

Most recent financial audit, including auditor’s management letter

A budget for the year the grant is being requested and/or for the project for which funds are requested

A list of Foundation and Corporate supporters and amounts given during the prior fiscal year.

 A list of Board of Directors at your organization.

 

Note:  For applicants who have received a prior grant from the Hamman Foundation, complete our one-page “Follow-up Report” on your prior grant.  Do not expand beyond our one-page report.
